Three-screw stainless steel screw press for sludge dewatering in an industrial hall
Troubleshooting

Ring Pack Fouling

Solids building up between the moving and fixed rings

Occasionally solids build up within the ring pack itself rather than only on the screen surface, restricting the relative movement of the rings and reducing the self-cleaning action. This shows as rising torque and falling drainage together.

Causes and corrective actions

Possible causeCorrective action
Hardened solids between ringsPerform a full deep clean of the ring pack.
Extended run without deep cleaningIntroduce a periodic deep-clean interval.
Worn spacers changing the gapInspect and renew spacers to restore the gap.
