Sludge Cake Outlet
Where the dewatered cake leaves the machine
Cake Discharge
At the discharge end, the dewatered cake is pushed past the back-pressure element and falls through the sludge cake outlet chute. The cake typically has a crumbly to firm consistency depending on sludge type and pressure setting.
The outlet is designed to direct cake cleanly into the downstream handling system — a screw conveyor, belt conveyor, skip, or big-bag filling station.
Design
- Directs cake to conveyor, skip, or big-bag
- Shaped to prevent bridging and buildup
- Enclosed for odour and hygiene control
