A programmable logic controller (PLC) coordinates all functions of the dewatering system: sludge feed, polymer dosing, screw speed, wash cycles, and start/stop sequences. This enables true 24/7 unattended operation.
The PLC also handles interlocks and safety logic, ramps the system up and down cleanly, and can communicate with the plant SCADA system for remote monitoring and data logging.
