Compact, Efficient Drive
The gear motor integrates an electric motor with a reduction gearbox, converting standard motor speed into the very low output speed required by the screw. This compact arrangement is highly efficient and requires minimal maintenance.
Gear motor power ratings across the RF series range from about 0.2 kW for the smallest model to 5.15 kW for the largest — a fraction of the power drawn by centrifuges of comparable capacity.
