What to Include in Your RFQ
A good request for quotation (RFQ) lets suppliers size correctly and quote comparably. The more accurate your sludge and duty data, the more accurate and comparable the offers. If some data is unknown, a pilot test or jar test can establish it before final specification.
RFQ checklist
- Sludge type, origin and variability
- Feed solids (% DS) and daily solids load (kg DS/d)
- Operating hours and required throughput
- Target cake dryness and capture rate
- Materials, automation, and integration requirements
- Site constraints: space, power, existing equipment
