Why Price Varies
Published "prices" for screw presses are misleading because a small unit for a workshop and a large municipal machine differ by an order of magnitude. Price is set by size class, materials of construction, throughput, degree of automation, and ancillary scope (polymer plant, conveyors, enclosure). The only meaningful number is a quotation against your duty.
To get an accurate, comparable price, provide
- Sludge type and origin
- Feed solids concentration (% DS)
- Daily solids load (kg DS/d) and hours of operation
- Target cake dryness and capture rate
- Site constraints (space, materials, automation)
