Dewatering Pulp & Paper Sludge
Pulp and paper mills generate large volumes of fibrous primary sludge together with biological sludge from effluent treatment. The fibre content actually aids drainage, and the screw press produces a firm, high-solids cake suitable for incineration or reuse.
Abrasion-resistant screen rings withstand the mineral fillers and fibres in mill sludge, while high-capacity multi-unit machines match the large flows of an integrated mill.
