Oily Sludge

Oily sludges are among the most challenging materials for mechanical dewatering. Conventional belt presses and filter presses are prone to rapid cloth blinding, while centrifuges may struggle with emulsified oil phases. The multi-disc screw press is the preferred technology for oily sludge dewatering. The self-cleaning ring disc design prevents oil-related clogging, and the low-speed operation avoids the emulsification effects common in high-G centrifuges.
