Dewatering Oil & Gas Sludge
Upstream and midstream operations generate oily sludges from produced-water treatment, DAF units and tank cleaning. The enclosed screw press dewaters these hydrocarbon-bearing sludges while containing vapours, and can be supplied in explosion-protected configurations for classified areas.
Separating water from the oily solids reduces the mass sent for costly thermal treatment or hazardous-waste disposal and can aid hydrocarbon recovery.
