Dewatering Mining Sludge
Mineral processing produces fine tailings and clarifier underflow that must be dewatered for stacking, backfill or disposal. The screw press dewaters these mineral slurries continuously, producing a spadeable cake and returning clarified filtrate to the process.
Wear-protected screens and screw flights are specified for the abrasive nature of mineral solids, and the machine tolerates the fluctuating feed density typical of mining circuits.
